What is a Communication strategy?
In general, the communication strategy defines:
- which target group we are addressing,
- what are the basic communication messages we want to convey and how they are expressed,
- through which channels we will distribute the message, and
- at what dynamics.
A communication strategy has to specify three major components:
- How will important information be delivered to our target group(s)?
- Who is in charge of delivering this information?
- What is the timeframe and frequency for information distribution?

Aims of the communication strategy should reflect on the aims set in the strategic plan of your organization.
